After I woke up, Stumbled out of bed, struggled to make coffee, hobbled to my computer, and started my "morning" routine. I checked DA and first message was congrats on the DD. AHHH I GOT A DD!! AGAIN! This totally makes a good birthday week. My first reaction was that I was still half asleep and somehow my head was just messing with me. So I got up and messed around then came back. Yep still there.

After I finish a commission piece I am currently working on I decided that I'd add even more on my pile of "to paint list"! Fanart piece (no idea which yet), 4 personal paintings, and now I'm going to work on a series. Or at least I would like to. I want to paint a disorder/phobia series. My interpretation of a few. WHY?? Because I find them interesting and very real. Many reasons why actually but I'd rather not get into some huge debate on the subject. I'd rather paint it! I'd also like to work in some feeling of hope in each piece. If I can pull this off I will be very happy with myself!

Also I want to do a Kiriban at some point but I haven't decided when or what I will be doing yet.

Safe to say I will be a busy bee. Art block prevention commencing!

One day there will be a journal post where I'm not talking about art theft! I promise. I just wanted to give other artist's a heads up. Apparently IMVU's art forums tend to have stolen paintings in them. If you have a chance please check it out to make sure you are not among them. Not sure what upsets me most. The chick who stole my stuff or the way IMVU handles art theft. It's a pain. Nothing against IMVU. Seems like a fun place and a lot of super nice people in it. And I only know of one bad egg. But I really don't like how easy it is for people to steal other's art and get away with it. At least that's what I'm experiencing now. I'm sure it's like this for any site. But this is the first time I've been told about the girl stealing my paintings (many thank you's to those who notified me<3) I was actually told I couldn't start a forum over there warning other's not to buy my art from fakes. Why??? Because it would make someone else look bad.... What?? Oh right sorry. We can't make art thieves look bad. What was I thinking?? Sorry for the rant guys but I'm a tiny bit Pissed off. NEED TO LET A LITTLE STEAM OUT.


Good news! This is the last journal I will bitch about this subject! And I have went into a bit of a sketch frenzy lately so I have all these painting ideas! Some may have angry faces though. Just saying

Alright boys and girls... Number one rule: DO NOT STEAL MY ART!!!!!!!!!! Pretty simple sentence to understand right? After I get things sorted out I'm going to remove my tutorials for the time being. I really don't feel like making it easier for art thieves at the moment. I may keep my tutorials via livestream from now on. Unless they can steal that too somehow. Anyone know how to report stolen art on IMVU by any chance? I looked and I sent an email to the staff. But I'm not sure if there is an "official" way to go about it. I would like to get a handle on it before she/he takes some poor guy's money.

P.S. I know this is the internet and stuff gets stolen easily. It doesn't mean it is okay. I KNOW WHERE YOU SLEEP. I will take your favorite teddy bear and hold it hostage. HOW ABOUT THAT??

Just a little bit I information about myself: I suck at keeping up with the years! I don't know if it's because of motherhood or what. I had been sort of down on myself, thinking I had been digital painting for over 3 years now and felt like I haven't really progressed. So.. I started to put waaaay too much pressure on myself and became my own worst critic. I looked at the first digital painting that I posted here and realized that this May will mark the SECOND year anniversary of my digital painting progress. Lifted a little bit of weight off my shoulders! But it also made me realize that I needed to chill out. Not get so discouraged so easily! Anyways the point of this journal is to help others realize that they just might be the only one thinking that their art sucks. And even if someone actually says their art sucks.. Keep painting anyways. Kay.. End of random journal rant~

I have a couple of paintings that I was working on but I'm going to hold off on those till I get my Cintiq in! I'm hoping this will help improve my art even if it's just a little. I'M EXCITED.


Also... I'm going to feature some art for the first time! There are just too many beautiful and amazing artworks to choose from. It was hard to decide which to feature first, so I'll just start with a small hand full. Enjoy!

I decided to take a small break from commissions for now. Maybe work on some personal pieces here and there but for the most part gonna sit back and take a moment to relax! I'm doing this so I don't get burnt out. I have two big pieces I've sketched out and I'm very excited about those. I think I will take my break then finish those before taking on any more commissions

These past few weeks have been major ups and down as far as digi painting goes. Lots of errors. Lots of practicing and trying out new techniques. Which led to some frustrations, but a few nice concepts popped up into the mix. So I'm excited about those.
I have a couple of big paintings as well as a couple of collabs I'm working on. Safe to say I will be busy!
One thing that hasn't changed a bit is my desire for a cintiq! I think the hand eye coordination will do wonders for me. One day!
